Deli style Hot Italian Wraps are easy to make and pack so much flavor! These hearty wraps are stacked with mozzarella cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, banana peppers and Italian dressing. Then they are cooked in the air fryer until the cheese is melty and the tortilla is golden.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 (8 inch) flour tortillas
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices hard salami
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 20 slices banana peppers
  • 2 teaspoons Italian dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Air Fryer Instructions:

  • Warm the tortillas by stacking them onto a microwavable plate, cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds until warm. You can also use a tortilla warmer if you have one.
  • Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble the wraps: Lay one tortilla wrap on a plate or cutting board and layer on a pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese, 2 slices of ham, 3 slices of hard salami, 6 pepperoni slices, 5 banana peppers, and another layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Drizzle ½ teaspoon of Italian dressing, and a dash of Italian seasoning. Repeat with the remaining 3 tortillas.
  • Roll each tortilla up like a burrito (watch my video to see how I wrap these).
  • Brush the top of each wrap with melted butter.
  • Add wraps to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes until the outside is golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the wraps from the air fryer and brush with additional melted butter.
  • Let the wraps cool and then cut in half. Enjoy!

Oven Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Warm the tortillas by stacking them onto a microwavable plate, cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds until warm. You can also use a tortilla warmer if you have one.
  • Place the wraps on a baking sheet evenly spread apart and bake them in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the outsides are golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the wraps from the oven, let cool, cut in half and enjoy!

NOTES

*Wrap leftovers in food plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
*To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-2 minutes.
*Warm tortillas up. Warm tortillas are easier to fold and less likely to rip while folding.
*Don’t overfill the tortillas. Adding too many fillings to the tortillas will make them impossible to fold.
