In a large mixing bowl combine self-rising flour, yogurt and ½ cup of the cheese, use a wooden spoon to connect.

Lightly flour your surface and lightly knead the dough. Form into a round, and cut into four pieces. Working with one piece at a time, roll each into a 5- to 7-inch rope, then pinch ends together to form a circle. I place a parchment round in my air fryer but you don’t have to. Place the bagels into your air fryer (don’t let them touch, so you may have to do two batches)

Top the bagels evenly with the remaining cheese.  Air fry at 350 for 8-10 minutes, checking for doneness.

Greek Yogurt

This recipe requires Greek Yogurt. The reason why Greek Yogurt is used rather than regular yogurt is it has been strained.

Straining regular yogurt requires it to become thick, which is better for baking since the yogurt will hold its shape when air frying.

You must use Greek Yogurt for this recipe. Otherwise, the recipe will not work.

Flour

The flour used to make Weight Watcher Bagels is Self-Rising flour, including All-Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, and Salt.

Since it’s three ingredients in one, it cuts down on the number of ingredients you need for this recipe. But, you can also make your own. Since most people do not keep self-rising flour in their pantry, here is an easy recipe to make your own.

What’s The Easiest Way To Shape Bagels?

You can make these in a variety of ways. My kids love to make a ball and then place their thumb through them, and they are shaped into a bagel.

I like to roll mine out and into a large rope and then join the ends together.

Either way works. The critical thing to remember is that the dough will go together as they bake up (or air fry up). So, make sure that the hole in the middle is a bit larger than you would like when you start.

How To Store:

I find that we don’t usually have any to store, but since you all asked, I wanted to let you know the best way to store these.

Let them cool to room temperature, and then place the leftover bagels into an airtight container. You can either leave them at room temperature, where they will last for about 1 to 2 days or any longer, place them into the refrigerator, where they should last for about 3 days.

How To Freeze:

You can make a double batch and freeze one or freeze a couple for a quick breakfast later. To freeze, wrap the bagels individually and then place them into the freezer.

To use, either thaw at room temperature or in the refrigetor.
